TRIVIA:
- FROM THE SHOW'S POINT OF VIEW: This episode does not mention the fact that the barn is just a set or Chica is just a puppet. Instead, it is a look at how the show is made in the Sprout universe.
- AND STARRING...: This special is mainly hosted by Kelly and Chica, though also contains scenes of Sean and Kevin.
- I SPEAK BUT YOU DON'T: Unlike the hosts (Sean, Kelly, and Kevin), Chica does not speak, but she does make squeaking noises.
- HOW IT ALL BEGAN: This special shows Kelly's audition for the show back in 2007. Here, she tells the weather, introduces Sprout shows, reads a Sproutlet's birthday card in front of a blue screen (in real life, the Sunshine Barn set didn't exist yet).
- REMEMBER WHEN?: This special contains footage of The Birthday Show, one of Sprout's first few original programs, as Kevin used to be on it.
- POP SONG COVER: Kelly performs the Spice Girls song "Stop!" in the room where the hosts hang when they're not in the Sunshine Barn.
- I KNOW THAT SONG!: "Do the You" from The Let's Go Show plays during "Escape from the Sunshine Barn," while the Sprout stretch music from The Good Night Show plays during the Friendship montage at the end.
- BEHIND THE SONG: This special shows the viewers how the songs on the show were made, from recording processes to taping of musical segments.
- SILLY SOUNDING WORDS: At one point in this special, Chica and her friends try to say the word "anonymous" and get the giggles when doing so.
- LET'S GET OUTTA HERE: Kelly and Chica show a short film they made, "Escape from the Sunshine Barn," in which they, Sean, and Kevin, you guessed it, try to break out of the Sunshine Barn, and rejoice when they do so. This segment was partially filmed on location.
- TRY NOT TO CRY: The ending shows a montage of Chica and the hosts just being friends set to heartwarming music that will probably get to you.
- SURPRISE!: The ending music from the Nick Jr. show "Yo Gabba Gabba!" plays over the credits.
- WELCOME, NEWCOMER: This is the first Sunny Side Up Show video released.
- WHERE'S THE THEME SONG?: This special does not have the show's theme song, "Brand New Day." Instead, it shows a cold open of Chica and the hosts playing a handclapping game called "Concentration" followed by a different intro without a song.
