Sprout's Super New Year's Party (The Sunny Side Up Show) (V2)

Like my other Sprout New Year's scene illustrations, this is a version 2 of a picture I did a year ago today but with a new Kelly puppet and an updated version of the hosts' picture with the birthday cards. Anyways, Super Grover from Sesame Street guested on The Sunny Side Up Show in 2008 for Time week with Kelly and Chica to help "sing" into 2009. The three sang a song about their new years resolutions to the tune of "Turkey and the Straw." Grover's resolutions included learning to take pictures, discovering a new breed of blue apple, tying his shoes with a penguin, and drinking hot chocolate with a dove. Kelly and Chica bestowed upon Grover the Super Good Egg Award. In his humble acceptance speech, Super Grover thanked his mommy, his daddy, his cousin Georgie, his uncle Frank, his uncle Frank's tailor, his aunt Susie and his brother Norman. It is also worth noting certain shows from Summer Fun Fridays possibly aired during the festivities. See you in 2026!
