In my final YouTube video, I said that even though I'd retire, I'd only post things on occasions, this being one of them. So sit back, relax, and enjoy as Star Saves Christmas.
This would be a story Anya Taylor Joy is telling to Chica's playroom friends and Sproutlets in Chica's Room. Our story begins with everyone in the Hills of Sprout celebrating Christmas, including carolers Peter, Tracey, Portugal the Man and Sproutlets singing, "We Love the Holidays". Just then, we see Star.
STAR: I sure do love Christmas time!
NINA: Yeah, Star - it’s a really special time of the year!
LEO: And, it’s so magical, too. There’s houses with pretty lights on trees with ornaments and lights and tinsel...
STAR: And let's not forget the candy canes and cookies of every kind!
NINA: A big feast for everyone!
LEO: Filled with a turkey and other good stuff.
NINA: And the stockings are hung by the chimney, everyone wraps a present, and gives presents to everyone we love,
STAR: And they open the presents!
LEO: And the post offices are filled with Christmas cards to send out.
NINA: And, everyone sings Christmas songs...
LEO: ...And read Christmas stories...
STAR: And watch Christmas movies on TV!
NINA: And, someone special comes down the chimney to leaves presents under the tree!
STAR: I know, I know, Santa Claus !
LEO: Yes, that's right, Star! Santa comes down chimney and gives us presents!
STAR: Hey, can walk around and see all of our friends celebrating Christmas?
NINA and LEO: Sure, you can!
Star heads out and sees his girlfriend, Banjo and Miles carrying Christmas presents.
STAR: Miles, Banjo, hi!
MILES and BANJO: Hi, there!
STAR: Wow, did you just get back shopping?
BANJO: Yeah, I brought this for my twin brother, Baljeet,
MILES: And I got this for my sister, Talisha. We got our last minute shopping done, because, it’s Christmas Eve, tonight, and, we’re all excited about it!
STAR: Oh, wow, I just can't wait for Santa to come tonight!
BANJO: Neither can I, Starry Baby! I just can’t to see what Santa got me!
MILES: Well, you have been good, Banjo.
BANJO: I know.
MILES: Well, we better get going and get these presents wrapped up so we can give them out tomorrow. Merry Christmas, Star!
STAR: Bye, merry Christmas! (to the viewer) That’s one thing I love about Christmas - you get lots of presents !
Star then heads to the Costume Coop, which Kelly locks up the door to.
KELLY: Well, the Costume Coop, it’s closed up for Christmas, now, and, we will come back to work after the new year!
CHICA: Squeak, squeak squeak, squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak! (Thanks, Kelly, I can't wait to spend Christmas with you!)
MRS. C: It’s great that we get to spend Christmas together, and, we won't have to work.
STAR: Hi there, merry Christmas!
KELLY, CHICA, MRS. C, and MR. C: Hi, Star, merry Christmas!
STAR: Kelly, did you close the Costume Coop early today?
KELLY: Yes, I did, Star. We can't work on Christmas.
MR. C: In fact, we’re on vacation!
CHICA: Squeak squeak squeak squeak squeak! (Christmas Vacation!)
MRS. C: Christmas vacation, that means we get time off and celebrate the most magical time of the year.
STAR: That’s another thing I like about Christmas - you wouldn’t have to go to work or go to school!
KELLY: That’s right, Star, a lot of people take Christmas off to spend time with their families
MR. C: Well we better get going - we’re heading to Chuck E. Cheese and then we're having dinner with the Jacobses* and Schultzs* and our family before Christmas see. See ya, Star, merry Christmas!
STAR: Bye, merry Christmas!
Star then heads to Patty and Easton.
