Star Visits a Dressing Room

This is a scene from yesterday's story, Star's Big Surprise (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/3EraYE). If you've read the story, you know that after the network behind The Super Squad got Star's petition encouraging them to bring the show back, they sent him a letter back, inviting him to visit their headquarters, which were nearby in Philadelphia. When they arrived, Star pointed out that they were in the city, not the Super Squad's classroom, but Nina explained that, just as the letter said, this was where The Super Squad and the network's other programs were produced, and Star told her that he'd love to see the Super Squad there, especially his favorite, Buffy the Buzzard. During the tour given to them by The Super Squad's producer (pictured), who resembles Josh Selig, the creator of the real-life show Super Squad is based on, he realized that, after he was given a Buffy sock puppet when in the animation room, there are trolls on the internet telling him to "get over it and move on" and the network only invited him to their building to tell him the show was still cancelled, so he ran off crying, when he found a door in a hallway reading "The Super Squad" (the door, not the hallway), so he went in and couldn't find them, and all he found was makeup when he opened a drawer. Just then, three girls went into the room and changed the sign so it could read their names. When Star noticed this trio, this is what he had to say...

STAR: You're not Mendy, Travis, and Buffy, you're boring girls!
ASIAN GIRL: We know, but, hey, you're the little petition star.
WHITE GIRL: I know you from Sprout's The Good Night Show, my baby brother watches that.
STAR: Well, looks like I have a fan!
BLACK GIRL: Thank you. The Super Squad loves you very much, too.
STAR: Who are you and what did you do to Mendy, Travis, and Buffy?
WHITE GIRL: Well, our show was cancelled not only due to high production costs, but because we wanted change.
BLACK GIRL: Everyone needs a little change once in a while, don't you think?
STAR: Yeah. Well, it was nice knowing you.
GIRLS (in unison): Bye!

When Star went to open the door and leave, he found that Nina and the producer had already opened it.

NINA: Star, you don't go wandering off into people's dressing rooms like that.
PRODUCER: And we knew you were in the room just because it read Super Squad.
STAR: Yeah, I know.
WHITE GIRL: But it was nice knowing him, and it's safe to say that he's just as nice as he is on TV.
ASIAN GIRL: I agree. Well, (in Buffy voice) goodbye!
BLACK GIRL (in Travis voice): See ya!
WHITE GIRL (in Mendy voice): Hope you can join our team sometime!
STAR: (gasps)
ASIAN GIRL: We mean...
GIRLS (in unison): Goodbye.

As Nina, Star, and the producer were walking out the door...

STAR: Could this mean...

Suddenly, he heard the girls singing the Super Squad name song with some lyric changes

MENDY: Mendy
TRAVIS: Travis
BUFFY: Buffy
MENDY: And Star
MENDY, TRAVIS, and BUFFY: The Super Squad, yes we are

STAR: Aww, that Super Squad!
