Here's the third installment in my "The Lies We Tell Our Kids" series. As you can see, when you don't want your kid watching a certain show, tell them that it's for grown-ups and about business, which they might find boring, which is what Mrs. C told Chica was 2 going on 3 in 2005, tell kids facts about their favorite shows that aren't true, like Noodle with Lara, when your kid's afraid of monsters, give them something to scare them away, like Nicholas' mom did to him, and finally, when you're tired of hearing a certain artist on repeat, tell your kid said artist is giving out concerts elsewhere, which is what Nina told Star in early 2007.
