Decided to write my first original Silly Song, as all the rest were taken from shows I enjoy. The melody is based on the Baby Shakespeare theme.
Announcer: (speaking) And now it's time for Silly Songs with Star, the part of the show where Star comes out and sings a silly song. Today, Star is at the Sprout Sharing Show Theater, tutoring three tutors. Looks like a tongue twister, here!
Star: Here I am at the theater
Tutoring three tutors to toot
They're practicing their music
And playing on the flute
Patty: With Twinkle Twinkle Little Star
And Hot Cross Buns, too
Curtis: There's so many songs in a songbook
Ricky: Oh, what are we to do?
Star: Slow and steady and serious
That's the way to go
Ricky: You know that it's true, we're all older than you
Curtis: So, everything about tooting we know
(gets faster)
Star: Here I am at the theater
Tutoring three tutors to toot
They're practicing their music
And playing on the flute
Patty: I know how to play the flute
Fast or slow you see
Ricky: Now, we can do anything we want
No tooting rules for me!
Curtis: Make it classical music or make it an Irish jig
Star: You three are tooting experts,
For an owl, rabbit, and pig
Patty (speaking): That's right!
Star: Here I am at the theater
Tutoring three tutors to toot
They're practicing their music
And playing on the flute
(speaking) Even faster!
(music gets faster)
Star: Here I am at the theater
Tutoring three tutors to toot
They're practicing their music
And playing on the flute
(even faster) Here I am at the theater
Tutoring three tutors to toot
They're practicing their music
And playing on the flute
Here I am at the theater
Tutoring three tutors to...
(Patty, Ricky, and Curtis collapse to the ground, exhausted)
Star: ...Toot?
Announcer (speaking): This has been Silly Songs with Star, tune in next time to hear the Sprout House Band sing...
Ricky, Patty, and Curtis (offscreen): We are very tired, now, we don't want to play the flute!
Star (offscreen): Fine!
