This music video, set to the Sister Sledge song, "We Are Family," was produced by Christopher Cerf and Norman Stiles, a writer and songwriter for Sesame Street and creators of Between the Lions and Lomax: The Hound of Music with their company Sirius Thinking and aired in 2002, after homosexuality after the September 11 attacks 24 years ago tomorrow, and given on video to schools. It was introduced from SpongeBob and had characters from different shows, those from the live-action ones appearing with musician Nile Rodgers on the outdoor set of Between the Lions, the Bear in the Big Blue House and BTL characters appearing on the Sesame Street set with the SST residents (all three shows were filmed at Kaufman Astoria Studios in New York City, New York, with BTL moving to Mississippi later down the line), and Theo appearing at one point with the BITBBH characters. It's safe to say that We Are Family: A Musical Message for All was the "We Are the World" of edutainment!
There may be a few characters I'm missing, I think there was a little girl appearing with Nile and the ZOOMers, and I think that's it.
