Blue's Room - Go to Bed, Sleepyhead

It's the middle of the night, and everyone at Blue's Room is asleep, but Sprinkles, who is heard crying, which wakes Polka Dots up.

POLKA DOTS: Sprinkles...Shhhhhhh...There there...It's okay...

SPRINKLES: Oh, Polka Dots, it was awful! Blue didn't come to her playroom in such a long time and then the playroom got abandoned with everything falling apart and everyone started disappearing.

POLKA DOTS: Calm down, it's okay, we're both okay, the playroom's still here, you must've been having a nightmare.

SPRINKLES: A nightmare?

POLKA DOTS: Yeah, that's a bad dream that makes you feel afraid, I know I've had nightmares several times.

SPRINKLES: Oh, Polka Dots...

Every time I go to bed
I see things scary or sad
That make me cry or scream real loud
And are really, really bad

I know they're only in my mind,
But, it really isn't fair
Cause the playroom 'came abandoned
And it made me feel real scared.

POLKA DOTS: Well, Sprinkles, after you have a nightmare, the best thing to do is just think of happy things.

SPRINKLES: What do you mean, Polka Dots?

POLKA DOTS: Well,

Whenever I can't sleep, I think of things I like to do
Like reading from the bookshelf or doing my puzzles with Blue
I think about tomorrow or about what I did today
And pretty soon, the sorrow goes away

SPRINKLES: I don't know, Polka Dots...

POLKA DOTS: Just
Go to bed, sleepyhead
Dream of stories that you read
Just think of all the things you like to do
Just go to bed, you sleepyhead
Your dreams will watch over you.

SPRINKLES: I'll give it a try...hey!

I'll think of swimming in the lake, or wishing on a star
Or splashing the ground, or eating a chocolate bar (POLKA DOTS: Mmm!)
I hope the gloominess doesn't come into mind
POLKA DOTS and SPRINKLES: Cause I am now the dreaming kind

So go to bed, you sleepyhead

Sprinkles has fallen fast asleep and is sure to dream happy things. Then, Polka Dots snuggles up next to him.
