Now It's Time for So Long ... For Real, This Time

Joshua Dela Cruz, former understudy for Broadway's Aladdin and "Josh" of Blue's Clues & You! announced on Instagram that there will be no more episodes of the show after the four or five season five episodes that were produced, thus making this season shorter than the original show's sixth season, which ran for nine episodes. Season 5 was supposed to have 26 episodes, but instead we got the number of episodes we got. I may not care for this reboot despite having the boxset and TWO copies of Super Stickers as much as the original and even Blue's Room, but I'm a huge Blue's Clues fan, and this is one of the reasons Nickelodeon/Viacom/Paramount shouldn't be trusted anymore (aside from the NOGGIN app shutting down last year after the entire team was laid off, the mere existence of Ryan's Mystery Playdate and Baby Shark's Big Show, and the removal of 90s/2000s Nickelodeon shows (plus again, BC&Y) on Paramount Plus).

So, to put it lightly, I'm both sad and angry about this announcement, and I bet other Blue's Clues fans feel this way.
