I decided to do a very special special for Sprout's 20th anniversary next month - introducing Sprout Palooza! This would be the title card, and here's the transcript for the opening scene.
REGINALD: Hello, there, and welcome to Radio City Music Hall. Tonight is September 26, a very special night, for we're celebrating 20 years of Sprout!
(Sprout, the green flower, arrives)
REGINALD: No, not you, Sprout, I mean Sprout the TV network, it's been 12 wonderful years of education, entertainment, laughter, fun, and, of course, wonderful music, and we'll be celebrating those musical memories tonight, but, first, let's meet the stars of the show, our four-year-old shining star from The Good Night Show, Carl Galaxy Brighton, otherwise known as Star!
STAR: Oh, boy, this is going to be SO exciting!
REGINALD: You bet it is! From The Let's Go Show, our ten-year-old canine singing and banjo playing sensation, Banjo Michael Basset!
BANJO: Woo-hoo, let's go! Yeah, yeah, yeah!
REGINALD: From The Sprout Sharing Show, we have The Sprout House Band themselves, Patricia Jane Pig, 14, Richard Elvis Rabbit, 8, and 18-year-old Curtis Estuardo Owl!
PATTY: That's us!
CURTIS: Yeah, and, hey, look at all the people who came to see us!
RICKY: Guess we have a lot of fans.
PATTY: Yeah, I bet most of these are people who grew up watching us during our run on TV.
CURTIS: They sure are.
RICKY: Well, what are we waiting for? Let's get this show on the road!
PATTY and CURTIS: Yeah!
REGINALD: A cook at 10 years old, from Noodle and Doodle, give a warm welcome to Noodle Butter McNoodle!
NOODLE: It's fan-noodly-tastic to be here!
REGINALD: Four heads are better than one, and the heads of the Sprout Diner agree, it's 61-year-old Brussel Parsley Sprout, 41-year-old Bean Legume Sprout, 16-year-old Alfalfa Fabaceae Sprout, and 5-year-old Turner Patrick Sprout!
BRUSSEL: Well, here we are family! Ready to have a good time?
ALFALFA: Am I ever? Good thing I didn't sleep through this.
BEAN: You'll make it through the night, honey. Trust me.
TURNER: This is gonna be a blast!
BEAN: Oh, yeah, it is!
REGINALD: Speaking of the name Bean, here she is, from The Super Sproutlet Show, it's 12-year-old Bean Chloe Meanswell!
BEAN: Come on, let's go, go, go!
REGINALD: And, last, but, most certainly, not least, from The Sunny Side Up Show and The Chcia Show, it's 4-year-old chicken superstar Chica Maria de la Granja!
CHICA: Squeak squeak sque-eak!
RED GUY (from Don't Hug Me, I'm Scared): Ugh, look at them, in all their glory, why couldn't have it been me?
REGINALD: You'll see them throughout the show, but for me, I better take a sandwich break! (walks off)
Take a wild guess at what kids' show anniversary special this is inspired by!
