Sprout Palooza - Stuck!
Inside the dressing room, the host, Taylor Launter, is getting ready for the show and looks at a mirror.
TAYLOR: There! The perfect outfit!
The crew members, including Patty and Jamie Foxx, help put on a bit of make up and gets his hair done
TAYLOR: Patty, did you remember the filmed intro of my arrival at the start of the show?
PATTY: Yes, Taylor. What you do, is, you jump out of a plane through a parachute and you land in the middle of the road, when a motorcycle is there, and, you get on and ride it heading to Radio City. It was pre recorded!
TAYLOR: That's right!
PATTY: I'm scared of heights and jumping off in mid-air because I'm scared of both death and getting seriously injured.
TAYLOR: It figures! Oh, and another thing is the door isn't already fixed yet.
PATTY: Yeah, it is. The repairman did get it fixed a little while ago and he also wanted me to tell you not to close the door - it will not open once it’s closed.
TAYLOR: Gotcha!
PATTY: But, you don’t need to worry about that - you have to focus on hosting the show!
TAYLOR: I know.
The crew is finished with the make-up.
TAYLOR: Alright, guys, before we go out there, I wanted to thank you all for making the music special honoring Sprout possible. The hard work, [and] the effort we put into this was really fantastic. We’re gonna make this a great show tonight and we have to make sure we not to let the door close - it will not open when it’s closed, so, remember, just don’t touch the door when we get to our places.
CREW: Okay.
Outside the dressing room, the Sprout friends arrive.
CHICA: Squeak squeak squeak! (Hi, Taylor!)
NOODLE: Hey, there, Taylor.
RICKY, CURTIS, TURNER, BANJO, LARA, EASTON, STITCHES, BUNJI, OTIS, ACIA, XAVIER, NICHOLAS, ALEX, ANN, BEAN, and THE STAGE MICE: Hello, Mr. Launter.
TAYLOR: Hey there, guys, nice to see you!
BANJO: Is this a bad time, Taylor?
TAYLOR: Not at all, come right in.
A handful of the characters walk in.
RICKY: Hey, Mr. Launter, we just wanted to say thank you for throwing us this big party for celebrating Sprout!
TAYLOR: It’s my honor, Ricky. You know, I love doing live television, 'cause it’s so much fun !
CURTIS: That is great!
TURNER: And, we’re having a lot of fun already!
STAR: Wow, there sure are a lot of people out there!
EASTON: There sure is, Star, they're all here to celebrate US!
STITCHES: There’s people who grew up watching the Sprout channel!
BUNJI: And, they brought along their own kids, I hope they're watching us, too, YouTube, at least.
NICHOLAS: And, there’s a lot of celebrities out there, too!
TAYLOR: Yes, and, there's even some award winners, like Oscar winners and Emmy winners.
ALEX: I see.
TAYLOR: And there's even other kids' TV network mascots, hey, here come Dash and Dot from PBS KIDS!
Dash and Dot walk by; the Sprout friends giggle.
TAYLOR: Hey, listen, I have to finish getting ready, so, you all should go back to your seats, okay ?
ANN: Okay, Mr. Launter. We’ll see you out there!
BEAN: Come on, kids, let’s get back to our seats!
BRUSSEL: We don’t want to miss the show
SPROUT FRIENDS: See you later Taylor/Bye, Mr. Launter
The Sprout friends walkout as they head back to their seats.
STAR: Oh, I can’t forget to close this door. We’ll see you out there, Taylor!
TAYLOR: Wait, Star, don’t close the door because...
It's too late - Star closed the broken door!
STAR: There!
TAYLOR: It sticks!
Star realizes the mess he made.
STAR: Oops!
