Star Saves Christmas - The Snowglobe

Back home, Star gives Santa cookies and milk and falls asleep while watching Christmas Eve on Sesame Street. In the middle of the night, he hears jingling sounds.

STAR: What’s that sound? Where’s it coming from?

Just then, he saw none other than Santa Claus himself putting presents by the tiny Christmas tree on the left of the moon chair, where Nina and Leo were sleeping.

SANTA: Ho ho ho, hello, Star!
STAR: That’s incredible! Amazing! Sprout-tacular! I'm actually seeing Santa Claus!
SANTA: Yes, it is! Now, would you like me to give you a present right now?
STAR: A special Christmas present?! Sprouteriffic !
SANTA: This toy horse or this magic snowglobe?
STAR: I'll take ... the snowglobe. What does it do?
SANTA: Well, it can grant you three wishes!
STAR: Three wishes? Ooh, I want the snowglobe! Please?

Santa hands Star the snowglobe, which he is amazed to see.

STAR: How do I make a wish?
SANTA: Just shake it and say, "I wish and wish a Christmas wish".
STAR: Okay, here I go. I wish and wish a Christmas wish.

The snowglobe grants Star's first wish - a plate of cookies and a glass of milk.

STAR: It worked! I wished for milk and cookies because I’m thirsty and a little hungry. I know, I could've wished for anything else!

Star eats his cookies and drinks his glass of milk.

SANTA: Remember, Star, you got two wishes left. You need to think about your wishes before you make them.
STAR: Okay, Santa, I'll remember.
SANTA: Well, I must be going. Now, I got a lot more toys to deliver!
STAR: And don’t forget your milk and cookies I left for you!
SANTA: I wouldn’t forget that!

Santa grasps the cookies and drinks his milk.

SANTA: Well, merry Christmas, Star!

Star waves goodbye to Santa and wishes him a merry Christmas as he gets back into his sleigh.

STAR: I’ve never seen a snowglobe that grants three wishes, but I’ll probably save them for tomorrow.

He gently places the globe down and heads back to sleep.
