The next morning is Christmas morning. Everyone celebrates as we see Turner and Alex.
TURNER: Merry Christmas, Alex. I’ve got this present for you!
ALEX: Thanks, Turner. I’ve got a present for you, too.
TURNER: Thank you, Alex.
We cut to Nicholas and Ann.
ANN: Hey, Nicholas! Mistletoe!
NICHOLAS: Oh, wow! Thanks, Ann!
They kiss underneath the mistletoe.
We cut to Sean and Noodle.
NOODLE: Yay, it’s Christmas Day! The best day of the year!
SEAN: Bet you can't wait!
Meanwhile, with Star...
STAR: Isn’t it great? Everyone is so happy that it’s Christmas!
NINA: I’m so happy, too, Star - everyone is enjoying the presents Santa left for them!
Miles and Banjo arrive.
BANJO: Hi, guys, merry Christmas!
NINA and STAR: Hi, Miles and Banjo, merry Christmas!
MILES: Did Santa come last night?
STAR: Yes, he did, Miles, and he even gave me this snowglobe and, it's magic, too!
BANJO: That’s great, Star! Well, we’re about to go watch How the Grinch Stole Christmas, the Boris Karloff version, at our house if you want to join.
Nina says she'd love to.
BANJO: Woo hoo! Let's go!
They head out except Star.
NINA: Are you coming, Star?
STAR: Oh, yes, I’ll be right there, Nina.
NINA: Okay.
STAR: Wow, I really love Christmas! Everyone stays home and they get a nice Christmas dinner. And they get toys. And they watch Christmas movies. And sing Christmas songs. It’s so great. I wish it was Christmas every day. That’s it - that’s my second wish! Okay, from now on I wish that it was Christmas every day, and, I mean, every day, starting right this second! Here I go, I wish and wish a Christmas wish,
The snow globe grants Star's second wish, where Christmas suddenly becomes Christmas every day.
STAR: That’s weird, nothing happened! Where’s my wish? Oh well, I’ll just catch up with the others.
Star runs to Nina to catch up with her.
A group is watching Rankin-Bass' Santa Claus is Comin' to Town on the TV at the Sprout DIner, then a news special report plays.
BRUSSEL: Wait, what’s going on?
TV announcer: We interrupt this program with a special news bulletin, and, now, heeeeere’s Reginald! Rabbit!
The TV shows Ricky's dad, Reginald, who starts talking about the situation.
REGINALD: Hello, I'm Reginald Rabbit, and I have the inside scoop! I have received the report that stores are suddenly open, and people are buying more Christmas presents. As you all know, yesterday was Christmas Eve, and kids hung up their stockings, like mine did (hi, Ricky!), and they opened their presents right when they woke up this morning. But this is what the special report is - tomorrow, it’s going to be Christmas again! That’s right, Christmas again! There will be lots people buying presents and maxing out their cards and cash. Speaking of which, I have to go get some presents, myself, so we will now return to your regular scheduled program already in progress. Over and Sprout!
The TV then fades to the special report logo.
BEAN: Wait, what? Christmas again?
ALFALFA: How can that be?
BRUSSEL: I don’t know, but, it looks like we better go do some shopping!
TURNER: I guess so.
COO: Let’s get going, everybody!
They all leave to go Christmas shopping, leaving Star behind.
STAR: Sprouterrific! My wish came true - we’re going to have Christmas again tomorrow!
Outside, we see Chica, Kelly, and Mr. and Mrs. C talking to Aunt Fern, Billy, Lilly, Uncle Vern, Alex and Ellen.
MR. C: Have you guys heard? it’s gonna be Christmas again tomorrow!
AUNT FERN: Yes, we did. Two christmases in a row!
CHICA: Squeak squeak! (That's weird!)
MRS. C: And all the stores are open and people are going Christmas shopping, too. It’s something. Ugh!
UNCLE VERN: well I guess we better get shopping
ELLEN: Yeah, we might, as well.
We cut to Sean and Noodle.
SEAN: Come on, Noodle, we gotta reopen our booth so everyone can get more Christmas trees!
NOODLE: Yeah, let's get going!
We cut to Patty in her room.
PATTY: Wow! Tomorrow is Christmas again, but when is Easton coming home?
