Here's what a typical episode of a Sprout in-universe TV show, Kari and Friends, would look like.
This is a screenshot from the theme song. After the theme song, Kari would greet the audience and the kids (three or four each episode) and they would sit down and discuss the daily theme (let's just say this one is about trains - each episode has a title, so it's called "The Kari Express"). They start by playing a game, but when they need something needed for the game that is missing, they, with the help of the audience, yell, "Oh, Earhart!" to get Earhart the Ladybug to grab it for them, choosing from one of usually five items. The game in this episode is about where vehicles travel - cars, trucks, and buses on the road, trains on the rails, boats on the sea, and airplanes and helicopters in the air.
Next, Kari introduces the letter of the day, which Bell the Bird (a child in a Halloween costume) hands her, followed by a cartoon about said letter, followed by two cartoons about the episode's topic and a live-action short involving kids doing something, like playing tug-of-war, eating ice cream, or playing with a sprinkler. These shorts have no talking, just music. This short is about a boy going on a train trip.
Then, Kari and her friends sing a song also related to the topic, both public domain and original, this song is a medley of "I've Been Working on the Railroad," "Down by the Station," and "Little Red Caboose," all songs about trains.
Then, it's nap time, so the children lay in their cots while Dizzy the Dragon (a costumed character) plays some music softly on his beloved trumpet and some animations are seen.
Then, the alarm clock rings to wake everyone up, and the last thing of the day is Shakespeare the Snail (a puppet) reading to Kari and the kids from his Children's Story treasury, this episode's story being "The Little Engine That Could" by Watty Piper. Finally, night falls, and the kids go home for the day and Kari sings her goodbye song with Ms. Moon (a female moon with a face), saying goodbye to the viewer afterwards.
EDIT (8/10/2025): Updated with new puppets for Kari and the kids (Mikell and Irma on Dizzy's left and Dayton and Paisley on Kari's right)
