The Lies We Tell Our Kids (part 4)

Here are four more instances of Sprout adults lying to their wards. Our first two both take place in 1999 - when Patty was almost five and still in preschool, the class drew pictures of the Eiffel Tower one day after learning about it, except her, she left her paper completely blank, and, that night, when her mom, Sharon, was tucking her into bed, she showed her the unfinished drawing, and, she told her she thought it looked "wonderful," while, when Banjo was 2, she saw Miles eating a chocolate bar, which he told was a "him" treat she couldn't have, in 2004, when Chica was a year old, she loved to listen to her Glowworm toy and watch it light up, even during the day, when, it was supposed to be used at night before bed, but, after a while, her dad, Mr. C, got annoyed, so, one day, he told her that it was "broken," which made sense since it didn't light up at the moment, and, finally, in 2005, when Star was almost three, Melanie took him to the park, and, after, let's just say an hour, she told him that the park was closing and they were going home. What "lies" did YOUR parents tell YOU when you were little?
