Silly Songs with Star - Something to Do Stew

Announcer (speaking): And now it's time for Silly Songs with Star, the part of the show where Star comes out and sings a silly song. Today, it's just another ordinary day at the Sprout Diner.

Brussel (speaking): You know what, Star, it looks like I have nothing to do.

Bean (speaking): But what about the stew?

Brussel (speaking): Ah, yes, the Something to Do Stew! Perfect!

Bean (speaking): You used to play some good drums!

Brussel (speaking): Mhm, I did! (grabs a djembe and begins to play it)

Curtis (speaking): I'll play my bass! (whistles for it and starts to play)

Alfalfa (speaking): You can join in, too, Turner

Turner (speaking): Okay!

Bean (speaking): And I'm playing my bell!

Banjo (speaking): Banjo's in the house!

Miles (speaking): And I'm playing the sax! Do we deliver, or what?

Star (speaking): Has anyone seen Chica? Oh, there she is, on the electric piano!

Star (speaking): You mind if I jump in on guitar!

Everyone else (speaking): Come on!

Bean (speaking): And you thought you had NOTHING to do!

Brussel (speaking): Well, that was before I discovered the recipe

Alfalfa (speaking): What recipe?

Brussel (speaking): The recipe for Something to Do Stew!

Star: You can make up a game, you can put on a play, discover a planet

Brussel: I'll call it Argafrumet

Star (speaking): Okay. (singing) You could look for fossils, you could spy on the birds, try a three-legged race

Turner: Say your name backwards

Star (speaking): Oh, rats! (singing) You can make a party, you can make a car, make up a movie

Bean: And I'll be the star!

Star: Just go on down to the kitchen of life.

And pick out a flavor or two.

Then you stir it up, stir it up, stir it up tasty.

Stew.

Banjo: You can go outside

Brussel: You can ride a bike

Alfalfa: Take a submarine down an underwater turnpike

Bean: You could draw a picture

Brussel: You could make a mask

Brussel: You could be a helper

Turner: You just gotta ask

Star: Make juice pops, cookies, sculptures with clay, make up a story about your favorite day

Just go on down to the kitchen of life.

And pick out a flavor or two.

Brussel (speaking): Close your eyes. Throw in a bunch of artist, now mix in some friends, stir in some stories, and voila!

Banjo: Find shapes in the clouds

Bean: Play in the sand

Turner: Experiment with a flashlight

Star: Play in a band

Brussel: You could build a fortress

Banjo: Go camp in the yard

Star: Battle a dragon

Alfalfa: Or you can be a lifeguard

Star: Make your own language, make your own rhymes, make up a song or go back in time
